In the Order of “Word and Law”, the status of a Salic Frank is not debated. It is granted by blood right and confirmed by the Word, which allows no appeal. There is no place here for intrigue or attempts to be accepted. There is only the establishment of distance. Violetta is the physical embodiment of a code where the Word is the only currency and Law is the only protection. Those within the Order know the rules. Those outside it do not exist for the system.
