🎖️🎓 Nine years ago, I was one of the students receiving my Bachelor’s degree from the Facultatea de Energetică at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Yesterday, I had the privilege of returning to the same stage, this time to deliver one of the opening speeches at the graduation ceremony. Standing before a full auditorium of nearly 1,000 people—graduates, parents, professors, and guests—I shared a few of the lessons I have learned throughout my journey. 🔹 Today is not the end of one chapter, but the first step in a career through which they will shape the future of the energy sector. 🔸 Never let anyone tell you that something cannot be done. 🔺 Romania needs you. Our energy sector is experiencing one of the most dynamic periods of development in recent decades, offering extraordinary opportunities to build meaningful careers and make a real impact. ▪️ And perhaps most importantly, be proud to wear the title of a Romanian engineer and to be graduates of the Faculty of Power Engineering, wherever your professional journey takes you around the world. 🇷🇴 I also dedicated a special message to the parents, the unsung heroes behind this achievement. This success belongs to them as well, for their encouragement, sacrifices, and unwavering support throughout these years. 👏 My sincere thanks to the Dean Robescu Diana and the Faculty leadership for the invitation and the trust to be part of such a special moment. To the Class of 2026, I wish you courage, confidence, and the ambition to help shape the future of Romania’s energy system.
