>>Orientation towards Green and Digital Economy << As part of the project Development of Entrepreneurship in Valpovo through Information and Networking, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and led by the #ValpovoEntrepreneurshipCentre d.o.o., a Round-table Discussion about on-going topic: Orientation towards Green and Digital Economy as a guarantor of Sustainable Development. The moderator of the round table was Prof. Dr. sc. #ŽeljkoHederić, from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek. #sustainabledevelopment #electricalengineering #entrepreneurship The participants of the round table presented their products and projects they've worked on or are currently working on in order to discuss the following topics: - Opportunities for the contribution of small businesses in the field of innovative technologies to sustainable development. - a focus on the digital economy that promotes the development - a green economy based on eco-innovation - ICT as a basis for the evolution of society towards technological innovation - digitalization of the economy that ensures efficiency Participants in the study: #MatkoŠutalo (mayor of Valpovo city) presented the guidelines for the development of the city #ZdenkoKurtović (entrepreneur, innovator) presented his experience in the economy inside and outside the EU by using modern digital tools to raise the level of green agriculture #SunčicaObermanPeterka (professor at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek) spoke about the basics of entrepreneurship and her experience with the project Centre for Entrepreneurship Osijek #MiljenkoŠvarcmayer (Master of Computer Science and research assistant in a research project) spoke about his experiences with the digitalisation of small farms Participants on the video link: #DeanVučinić (Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel / Brussels School of Governance) presented examples of solving complex problems in multidisciplinary engineering and computer science. #IvanJelušić (Chief Operating Officer and one of the founders of #Orqa, a Croatian startup - now #CapitalHook) presented his team's pioneering work in remote reality and explained how to succeed in the field of digital technologies through perseverance and collaboration Domagoj-Krešimir Jukić (research associate at the Institute of Automation Technology at the Vienna University of Technology) described how he went from studying in Osijek to development jobs at Rimac Automobili to scientific work at CERN and Wiena.
