There are moments in a career that you only truly understand with time. Moments that change the way you look at people, business and your own ambitions. It has now been six months since I left Corteva Agriscience. Only now do I feel it is the right moment to calmly look back at that period. For me, those nearly five years were one of the most intense chapters of my professional life. And they came with very concrete results. Together with an outstanding team we managed to navigate the business through one of the most difficult moments the industry has faced in years: the disruption caused by COVID massive overstock across the entire crop protection market strong price pressure across generic molecules Despite that environment, we stabilized the market situation, rebuilt momentum and ultimately achieved the highest sales in the history of Corteva in Poland, strengthening the company’s position as one of the market leaders. But the real transformation was not only about numbers. During that time we changed the rules of the game. We were not only building solutions based on R&D molecules. In parallel, we created a second complementary product line that effectively disrupted the plans of generic competitors. With two strong and complementary portfolios we became a real alternative on the market and started to shift the competitive balance. And we did it differently. Not through a simple price war. But through strategy, quality and intelligent positioning. Because real value in business is rarely only about price. People Behind the Results Numbers are only part of the story.
