Great animation does not end with the final render. It reaches its full potential when animation and post-production work hand in hand.   On The Last Whale Singer, color grading became more than a finishing touch. It was the stage where lighting, textures, atmosphere, and emotion were unified into one cinematic underwater world. Through close collaboration between animation artists, directors, compositors, and the colorist, individual shots were transformed into a cohesive visual journey.   For us, it became a great opportunity to work internationally with different pipelines, worldwide artists and big variety of creative choices to be made in this cinematic world.   Read the full article to see how the final look was shaped.
