Optical cooling gets harder the closer you get to the quantum regime. Photon shot noise puts a classical floor on measurement sensitivity that better feedback alone won't fix, so you have to rethink the light itself. This application note explores what happens when squeezed light from Noisy Labs is combined with multi-axis lock-in detection and parametric drive.
