As part of our Stories of Growth series, we are proud to share one truly special journey: Valentina Krstic, Senior HR Business Partner from Niš. Valentina’s story began on August 1, 2017, when Zumtobel Group in Niš was still a greenfield project – a vision captured on a single slide, driven by courage, energy, and the belief that something meaningful could be built from nothing. She was the third employee hired at the location, following her direct manager and the Director of Finance. Together, they helped turn an idea into a thriving organization, welcoming and shaping every person who joined along the way. Valentina started as an HR Assistant, where she built a strong foundation in HR operations and learned how to support both employees and processes in a fast-growing environment. She then progressed to the role of HR Specialist for Recruitment and Processes, taking on greater responsibility in shaping hiring journeys, improving workflows, and ensuring that the right people joined the organization at the right time. As her experience and impact grew, she advanced to HR Business Partner, working closely with leaders and teams to align people strategies with business needs, influence organizational decisions, and actively contribute to shaping the culture. Today, she is a Senior HR Business Partner, bringing together extensive experience, strategic perspective, and a strong sense of ownership for both people and the organization. What began as a project gradually became a community – built on trust, shared commitment, and countless moments of collaboration. The recognition Valentina receives today is deeply connected to that journey. Each step of her career reflects not only her growing expertise but also her strong and lasting connection to the people and the organization she has helped shape from the very beginning. In the end, the true value of this journey lies in the people and the stories we have created together. Valentina embodies this spirit, turning vision into reality. Through her belief in people, processes, and the future, she quietly inspires those around her – fostering trust, encouraging bold steps forward, and enabling shared growth.
