✅ Attackers can capture encrypted traffic now and decrypt it later when quantum computing becomes available. But as encryption shifts to post‑quantum algorithms, security tools can lose the ability to inspect encrypted traffic. The solution: use hybrid key exchange to unlock PQC traffic inspection to protect against future quantum attacks—while still performing inline decryption, inspection, and policy enforcement during the transition. For private networks, add post‑quantum pre‑shared keys (PPK) to IPsec VPNs so tunnel keys stay safe even if today’s Diffie‑Hellman exchange is later broken.
