From first conversations to real momentum — our aerospace journey has officially started ✈️ This week marked an important milestone for ZEISS Microoptics: our first official step onto the aerospace stage as a sponsor of the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) in Hamburg. Directly following PEC, Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) took place in Hamburg, where we continued the conversation and were on site until yesterday. What stood out most: 📍Strong interest from OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers During AIX, we had in-depth discussions over two days with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers around our micro-optical solutions from next-generation HUD concepts to transparent cabin integration. 📍Clear signal from the industry Across multiple PEC sessions, one message came through consistently and was equally reflected in our conversations at AIX: Passenger experience is becoming a key differentiator and needs to be considered as an integral part of the design process with a clear focus on creating memorable experiences. 📍Validation of our approach Transparent display integration directly into cabin surfaces, such as dividers, is no longer seen as futuristic, but as a logical next step in cabin design. 📍Media and visibility We had the opportunity to share our perspective in interviews and a podcast. It´s great to see the growing interest in our technology in aerospace. Beyond the meetings and sessions, it was simply an intense and inspiring week with valuable conversations and new connections across the industry. And this is just the beginning. Thank you to everyone for the great exchange over the past few days, it was a pleasure connecting and sharing ideas.
