There are some podcasts you listen to for entertainment… and there are some you listen to when your mind needs realignment. For me, two of those are the I Said What I Said podcast and listening to Omar Suleiman. I don’t even listen to them all the time. But whenever I do, I always leave feeling different in the best way possible. I Said What I Said has this honest way of talking about women, society, culture, friendships, expectations, and life in general that makes you reflect without even realizing it. It feels real, unfiltered, and relatable. Then there’s Omar Suleiman. His words have a way of slowing life down for a moment. He speaks about purpose, character, faith, growth, and the kind of mindset that reminds you to become a better person beyond just career success or social validation. I’ve realized that what we constantly listen to shapes how we think, how we see people, and even how we see ourselves. Sometimes growth is not always in a classroom, a meeting, or a motivational quote. Sometimes it’s in a random podcast episode you almost skipped. And honestly, I think that’s beautiful.
