✅After months of planning and many barriers along the way, it’s been a real privilege to finally launch Bridge the Gap Football Youth at Saint Mary’s Church! ⚽️ ⚽️BTG Youth is about bringing young people from different backgrounds together through football and faith - building relationships, creating belonging, and helping young people explore identity and purpose. Our hope is simple: that every young person who comes along feels invited, known and valued. We’re trying to create a space where: • Every young person feels welcome and like they belong • Genuine relationships grow between leaders and young people • Friendships form between young people built on trust, respect, and encouragement 📋The project faced many challenges that delayed our planned October launch, which makes seeing it up and running now even more rewarding. ⚽️✝️Having already been involved in running the Southampton men’s site, it’s been a joy to be part of the planning and help lead this new branch of youth ministry. God willing, we’ll see this ministry continue to grow and reach many more young people across the city! 🙏 Psalms 100:5 ✝️
