Looking back, one of the most rewarding parts of my senior year at Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business was working on a consulting project for Alcon with four talented peers as part of our senior capstone. We were brought on as student consultants to help enhance Alcon’s competitive intelligence capabilities, a challenge that pushed us to think strategically and build creatively. Our solution was an AI-powered platform using OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, BeautifulSoup, and Streamlit to automate market research, track competitor trends, and deliver insights through an interactive dashboard. From navigating market discovery and product ideation to building scraping tools and designing user workflows, this experience strengthened my ability to solve complex problems. I'm grateful for this opportunity and excited to carry these skills forward.
