During my last semester at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg (H-BRS), I had the opportunity to take a fascinating course on the Fundamentals of Biomedical Informatics. The course provided an in-depth introduction to the essential physical, chemical, and biological principles driving the field of bioinformatics today. For our final project, we were tasked with presenting a research paper, and I chose to dive into the world of neurostimulation and its potential to enhance memory. What fascinates me most is that we have reached a point in history where we can leverage technology to literally alter and optimize the wiring of our own brains. The intersection of technology and human biology is evolving rapidly, and it opens up incredible possibilities for the future.
