Today concluded the 12 month Immersive Directors Programme as part of The Inspiring Leaders Network which I have been fortunate enough to participate in thanks to Norma French for supporting my CPD. The Executive facilitators have been patient, challenging and supportive thanks to Nicky Ingham, Marie Thompson, Ismail Hafeji & Matt Walsh for the stretch! 📚 I could not have wished for a more inclusive national peer network to be on this journey with, such inspirational leaders including Bobby Anwar CMIRM SIRM PIOR Alex Cottrell Emma Addie Matthew Sidgreaves Joanne Taylor Emma Wilkins FCIPD David Simm John Foo Kat Poole Stuart Hill and Dr Darren Ralph Ryan Cowley Fiona Holgate (Doorey) MBA BAHon FCMI CMgr The Programme has covered a broad range of readiness topics with full day workshops. 🌱NHS unitary boards, governance, well led and assurance. 🌱 Executive strategic development and planning, quality, safety and board assurance. 🌱 The role of the executive in strategic finance and risk and the role of a non-finance director. 🌱 The role of the executive director and board for people, culture, engagement & inclusion 🌱 Board dynamics, collaboration, and high functioning boards. 🌱 Systems thinking and humanity I feel I’ve grown so much in this time and more than ever appreciate & understand the complexity and relationships required to have a positive impact as a member of a unitary board. As a senior leader, having experience and exposure in to roles of the future can give confidence in self and assurance to others. Eternally grateful for the investment made and look forward to applying the learning 💯
