🚀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗯 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 Over the past few months at the Office of Institutional Research, Habib University, I had the opportunity to design and build a 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗯 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 — a system that empowers senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders to interact with 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 through natural language. This AI agent bridges the gap between complex databases and human decision-making by: 🔹 Integrating 𝘃𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 for unstructured data and a 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 for quantitative insights 🔹 Enabling 𝗡𝗟𝗨-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁-𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for multi-turn conversations 🔹 Visualizing trends and comparisons (courses, instructors, programs) through 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for richer insights 🔹 Designed to process 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲-𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 spanning multiple academic years, hundreds of courses, programs, and faculty records 🔹 Combining 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and advanced query pipelines to make data exploration intuitive and powerful The system is built end-to-end — from 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 and 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 and 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 — ensuring a seamless, production-ready solution.
