At Yusen Logistics, effective communication is key to connecting customers, carriers, and colleagues across borders. Languages are more than a skill - they’re a core capability that enables us to move goods efficiently across multiple countries, strengthen business relationships, and solve problems collaboratively. Since 2022, we’ve partnered with Busuu to provide self-paced e-learning in 14 languages, complemented by weekly small-group webinars. This approach builds a learning network across Europe and all Business Units, supporting colleagues from senior leaders to operational teams. The results speak for themselves: over 13,000 e-learning modules completed in the last 12 months alone, 275 CEFR certificates earned, and more than 800 colleagues attending webinars.
