Today, Yum! Brands announced it has entered into definitive agreements to sell Pizza Hut, Excluding Mainland China, to LongRange Capital, a private equity firm with a customer-centric and operationally oriented approach, and Pizza Hut in Mainland China to Yum China Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: YUMC; HKEX:9987), in separate transactions. These transactions enable Yum! to be a more focused company that continues to deliver sustained value for our stakeholders, and position Pizza Hut for future growth and success.     Pizza Hut has played a defining role in Yum!’s story, shaped by generations of team members, employees and franchise partners around the world.
