From a weekend sprint to five weeks of venture capital and clinical mentorship – and a 2nd‑place finish: what a ride! I participated in the med-dev.org Hackubator with Wellster Healthtech Group and Spira Labs, where my team developed a platform to screen patient intake data and prioritize treatment requests, reducing prescribing time and improving safety. We validated needs through clinician interviews, produced a business plan with a one‑year implementation roadmap, and considered regulatory and clinical governance requirements to ensure safe, compliant deployment – a huge amount learned in a very short time. Building healthtech from scratch is tough, but incredibly rewarding as solutions can improve patient outcomes and access to care. Huge thanks to Leonard Rinser 🤘🏼 for driving the program, and to Nico Hribernik, Martin Ettling and Claudio Kusnitzoff Diaz for hosting and mentoring!
