Greensboro runs three national youth sporting events at once this weekend. The result: 12,000+ athletes and $22M in projected economic impact. The breakdown: → 8,000 track athletes at NC A&T → 2,900 ninja competitors from 10 nations → 176 soccer teams in ECNL playoffs "Weekends like this are what have made Greensboro synonymous with sports tourism and earned our community recognition as Tournament Town," says Richard Beard, president of the Greensboro Sports Foundation.
