President Trump signed a presidential memorandum restoring the Presidential Fitness Test Award at American schools, reintroducing performance-based benchmarks for student fitness. The original test was phased out during the Obama administration and replaced with a health-focused program. The signing coincided with National Youth Sports and Fitness Month and was attended by athletes including golfer Bryson DeChambeau and MLB pitcher Noah Syndergaard, along with members of the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition.
