Once again, YEC Barcelona would like to thank Fundación FERO for the opportunity to be part of its 28th Charity Gala, a very special evening that highlights the fundamental role of scientific research in the fight against cancer. During the event, the work of researchers Luciano Di Croce, María D. Mayán Santos, Maria Vidal, and Gabriel Rabinovich was recognized for their projects focused on developing new cancer treatments. The achievements of young scientists Eva Maria Novoa, Pere Barba Sunol, and Elisa Espinet, were also celebrated, as their advances in early detection, immunotherapy, and more effective therapies are opening new avenues of hope for patients. Our sincere appreciation to Fundación FERO for the invitation and for continuing to promote initiatives that bring science closer to people and help build a future with greater hope in the fight against cancer.
