REDESIGN STORY @shivelychristianchurch has a long story of kingdom impact in southwest Louisville. The current chapter is bringing a revival of Gospel impact. Broken life after broken life continues to collide with Jesus for the first time through the work of the church. They reached out to @jonmccallon and #yourhouseblend to do a redesign of their logo and branding. We asked questions to better understand their goals and did research on the history of Shively as a small city. Founded in 1778 by Christian Shively, Colonel William Pope, and Major Abner Field, the city has been through population booms, scandals, and became the home for some major distillers. There is a lot of pride in being from "Shively". Their logo is inspired by the jagged edges of their local impact and a more practical mark for modern digital needs. The “S” mark doesn’t just represent the church, but their desire to be a central part of Shively’s area story.
