コロナが猛威を振るっていた時期、MBAにチャレンジしました。 外出が不自由だったため、色んな大学でオンラインMBAコースを用意していたのもあり、会社の裁量労働制をフル活用して無事卒業ができました。 MBAは費用も時間もかかりましたし、ストレスも結構ありました。でも楽しくて達成感も大きかったです。 中高生時代にはとにかく早く大人になって勉強やテストから解放されたかったのに、わざわざ学校に行って勉強するとは想像したことないですが、実際やってみたらハマりました。 一番の違いは「自分が必要を感じて、自分で学ぼうと決めたこと」だと思います。やらないといけないからやるのではなく、やりたいからやることは意外と楽しいものでした。これがSelf learningの力でしょうか。 During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to pursue an MBA. Because going out was difficult, I was able to take full advantage of the online MBA courses offered by various universities and utilize my company's flexible work arrangements to successfully graduate. The MBA was expensive and time-consuming, and quite stressful. However, it was also enjoyable, and the sense of accomplishment was immense. In middle and high school, I just wanted to become an adult quickly and be free from studying and tests. I never imagined I'd actually go to school to study, but once I tried it, I became hooked. The biggest difference, I think, is that "I felt the need to learn and decided to learn it myself." Doing something because you want to, rather than because you have to, was surprisingly enjoyable.
