🚨HealthTech Opportunity🚨Apply to be a FOUNDING member in a fast growing HealthTech Startup! We’re hiring a Founding Engineer for Orbion Connect. 🥳 We're so grateful that we can expand our team and work with exceptional talent, this is not a casual opportunity, and it’s not for everyone. At this stage, the role is positioned as an unpaid internship, with an intended path to a permanent, equity or paid position post-raise. We are bringing on 1–2 candidates initially and will transition the role to one member based on performance. If you’re looking for something low-commitment to “add to your CV”, this isn’t it. If you’re juggling multiple side projects or planning to build something separate in parallel, this won’t work. We are looking for someone who is ready to prioritise building and maintaining Orbion Connect. We’re creating a platform where: * Companies can discover and connect with vetted experts through semantic search + AI * Experts can monetise their knowledge through structured, high-trust interactions * The entire process from discovery → scheduling → payment → feedback, is seamless 
We’re building AI-native workflows: * RAG-powered search & conversational discovery * Real-time scheduling + payments (Stripe) * Multi-provider LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) * Scalable backend systems (FastAPI, MongoDB, Qdrant) * Modern frontend architecture (Next.js, TypeScript, React Query) You’ll be working across: * Backend systems (FastAPI, async architecture, APIs, services) * AI/search infrastructure (embeddings, vector DBs, RAG pipelines) * Frontend product experience (Next.js, dashboards, state management) * System design decisions that will define the company This role requires high ownership and initiative taking, as you'll be working in a founding member capacity. Project management and task delegation, including anticipating and remediating technical needs independently.
