Some of the hardest decisions as a founder don't feel hard at first. They feel obvious. And yet, I took months before making this one. Not because I doubted the person. But because opening your capital means something. It means trust. It means believing someone sees the future the way you do. And it means accepting you can't and shouldn't build everything alone. Today, I'm proud (and a little emotional, honestly) to share that Polina Tarassov is stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer at Generations Recruitment and is now joining our shareholding structure. Polina's journey reflects what we believe in. She joined us in a marketing role. She chose to move closer to the core of our business and became a recruiter. Step by step, she built her expertise, her impact, and the trust of both clients and candidates. In 2024, she was named Recruiter of the Year at the Talent Business Awards. Shortly after, Generations Recruitment was recognised as Recruitment Agency of the Year. Not a coincidence. What makes Polina stand out is not a title or an award. It's her sense of ownership, her consistency, and her relentless focus on improving how we work and deliver value even when it's uncomfortable. We are a team of 11. Small by design. Ambitious by intention. As we enter 2026 and move into a new strategic phase (scaling Executive Search and RPO Intelligence), structure matters. Not to become bigger. But to become better. Not to add layers. But to move faster with more clarity.  As COO, Polina will focus on what really drives sustainable growth:   – operational excellence   – alignment between vision and execution   – and a best-in-class experience for our clients and candidates Opening our capital to her sends a simple message: the future of Generations is built with the people who grow it from within.
