I attended the ICML at the end of July. This opportunity came as a result of a project I completed during my first semester, where we developed a weather forecasting model as part of a paper-writing course. To my surprise and delight, our project placed 4th in the final competition of the course, earning me a grant to attend this prestigious international conference. While I didn't present this time, it was an honor to be in the presence of so many brilliant minds in the field of weather research & machine learning. I hope to present our own research at the next international conference! And to Juwon Moon, my companion all this way, so sehr viel danke schön(?) Auf Wiedersehen, Wien!
