One of the most rewarding moments in Yazamiyot on Campus is our Alumni Panel 🌟 This week at Yazamiyot on campus, we hosted a very special alumni panel as part of our long-standing partnership with Tel Aviv University's Entrepreneurship Center. The conversation was personal, honest, and inspiring. ✨ Dr Shira Burg, one of our very first participants from Cohort 1, shared how the idea for Symbiosis was born during the program itself. With the support of this program, including our amazing mentor Varda Badet, who later became her co-founder (!), she transformed that idea into a groundbreaking medical device company developing a heart valve that adapts in real time to each patient's anatomy. Today, Symbiosis has raised over $10M from leading investors and institutions. Shira is an inspiring founder and role model for our young female founders. ✨ Keren Riber Abrahami developed the idea for URIna Tech during Cohort 5 together with her colleague from the Faculty of Economics. Today, Urina tech is a strong startup company developing a rapid and accurate urine-based diagnostic platform. Keren won the prestigious Coller Startup Competition-Tel Aviv University ($100K), was the winner of our global competition and flew with us to London, and has raised substantial funds (also from the Israel Innovation Authority רשות החדשנות ) to advance her vision. She now has a real factory in Caesarea: her dream has come true. ✨ Limor Ziv (Ph.D), founder of Humane AI, shared her journey of building a company that helps organizations implement AI responsibly and effectively. Today, she works with leading institutions, built impressive traction, and is a recognized leader in her field. Limor, shared the story of how @natali vidal , our lead mentor, inspired from the very beginning and continues to do so to this day. This is exactly why we do what we do. Through this program, we combine the university's world-class research, innovation, and entrepreneurial DNA with practical startup tools, mentorship, and powerful role models. Our goal is simple: to help more talented women take the leap into entrepreneurship and build the next generation of impactful companies. Seeing founders from Cohorts 1, 3, and 5 return to inspire Cohort 7 is proof that this approach works ⭐️. A special thank you to the amazing Yael Krieger for managing this program moderating such a thoughtful discussion, Yair Sakov and to all the mentors and volunteers of Yazamiyot - Women Entrepreneurs that make this program possible.
