Proud to share that our MGT401 project; Transforming Skaff Farm into a Guided, Interactive, and Loyalty-Driven Agro-Tourism Experience, has been selected to be featured on the LAU webpage as part of this semester’s highlighted projects. This project was more than an academic deliverable for us. It was a chance to think about how innovation can support resilience, especially in Lebanon’s agri-food and agro-tourism sectors. For Skaff Farm, we worked on transforming the visitor journey into a more guided, interactive, safe, and memorable experience for families. Our solution combined several elements: a smart farm companion app, an AI chatbot, an interactive map, AR experiences for children, a gamified treasure hunt, loyalty rewards, a smart bracelet concept for child safety, an automation workflow, dashboards, and a full project management plan covering initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. The goal was not only to propose ideas, but to build illustrative MVPs and practical concepts that could help Skaff Farm increase engagement, strengthen family trust, and encourage repeat visits, while staying realistic and feasible. Unfortunately due to the unfortunate circumstances in Lebanon, our planned resources were limited, but this pushed us to manage our communication and get even more creative and resourceful! We are truly grateful to Dr. Samar Aad for her guidance, encouragement, and for giving us the opportunity to work on a project that pushed us to think creatively and professionally. A big thank you as well to Skaff Farm and Tarek for being cooperative, responsive, and open throughout the process despite war circumstances. Their support helped us better understand the real challenges and opportunities behind the visitor experience.
