A small step is creating a big change Pangal Vishnu Daware from Thakarpada, Anwir became one of the first farmer in his village to benefit from the Fruit Wadi Plantation Scheme. With support from the Talasari Agriculture Department and YRF, he planted 50 Keshar mango saplings on just half an acre of land. The journey was not easy. Every day, water had to be carried manually for nearly 100 metres under extreme heat. Understanding this challenge, YRF Foundation provided a 100-metre irrigation pipeline, helping water reach every plant directly and reducing daily labour. Today: 1) 42 out of 50 plants are surviving 2) Daily water-carrying burden reduced 3) A model orchard is taking shape in a tribal village This is more than a plantation story. It is about awareness, access to government schemes, community support, and the determination of one farmer creating inspiration for many others. Small support. Sustainable impact.
