🤝Yara Kenya is currently working with over 180 cooperatives across the country, supporting a wide range of value chains through tailored input solutions and agronomic expertise. ☕ Particularly, in the coffee sector, Yara has established a strong presence through a combination of technical support and targeted crop nutrition programs. These include farmer training programs, demonstration plots showcasing best agronomic practices, and extensive soil mapping across key coffee-growing regions to optimize nutrient solutions. Building on this foundation, Yara East Africa engaged the Ministry of Cooperatives with the aim of supporting the National Coffee Revitalization Programme. 🪴 This comprehensive initiative seeks to transform Kenya’s coffee sector by restoring prosperity to farmers, increasing productivity, and ensuring sustainable growth in global markets. The programme presents a strong opportunity for Yara to contribute not only through its technical knowledge and agronomic expertise, but also by supporting improved input solutions, farmer capacity building, and sustainable value chain development. We remain committed to scaling up with governments and cooperatives to unlock the full potential of the sector and deliver lasting value for farmers and the broader economy.
