Roughly half of global food production depends on mineral fertilizers. As geopolitical tensions, energy volatility and supply chain disruptions reshape global markets, resilient fertilizer supply chains are becoming increasingly critical to global food security. In a World Economic Forum article, Yara's President and CEO, Svein Tore Holsether, explains why fertilizer has become a geopolitical issue and what it will take to strengthen global food systems in a more fragmented world.
