This film for WWF was by far the most difficult project I have ever worked on. The idea was simple, let's use the natural melting properties of ice to create a stop motion film that melts away, highlighting the urgency of the Arctic problem. But, fittingly, once ice starts melting you have no control over it, making it almost impossible to create a stop-motion film of this scale (which of course requires time between each shot.)  It was especially hard emotionally, as with every melted sculpture and ruined shot, we were being reminded of the devastating issue at hand and how easy it is to underestimate it. [Update: In-depth behind-the-scenes -> https://lnkd.in/dEZJP96d ] It wouldn't have been possible without the awesome Marcos Savignano who started running impossible-looking experiments with me a year ago, Jua Braga who brought his awesome character animation to the bear, Ted Regklis who once again created the most wonderful and fitting music for the film, and of course Marilena Vatseri who knows exactly how to push the right buttons to get the best out of anybody! A huge thank you to WWF who passionately supported the project Andrea Norgren, Ashley Perl, Mandy Jean Woods, Martin Sommerkorn, Leanne Clare, Fanni Barocsi CLIENT: WWF Arctic Programme AGENCY: NOMINT CAMPAIGN: “We can’t negotiate the melting point of ice” PRODUCTION: NOMINT CREATIVE DIRECTION: Yannis Konstantinidis DIRECTOR: Yannis Konstantinidis, Marcos Savignano 3d ANIMATION: Jua Braga, Marcos Savignano SOUND & ORIGINAL MUSIC: Ted Regklis VO: Russel Binns PRODUCER: Yannis Konstantinidis, Marilena Vatseri #COP26
