What could make next-generation #electronics lighter, faster to produce, and more #sustainable? As part of Yamagata University J-PEAKS Program, we are planning a study tour to Europe for Japanese companies in March 2027. One of the companies on the itinerary is TracXon, a Dutch company specializing in the development and manufacturing of Flexible Hybrid Electronics (#FHE) products. TracXon recently unveiled the world’s first Roll-to-Roll Via Printer (#R2R Via Printer), a groundbreaking manufacturing system designed to accelerate the production of FHE products while reducing weight and supporting more #sustainable_electronics manufacturing. This #innovation has the potential to expand what next-generation electronic devices can do—making them not only more functional, but also more efficient and environmentally conscious. How does this new printer work, and why does it matter for the future of electronics?
