Last week, we had the pleasure of supporting the 20th edition of the Japanese Film Festival at Mladosť Cinema. The opening evening attracted a full audience, with all 150 seats occupied. The event began with welcoming remarks from Inge, followed by a speech from His Excellency Yasuhiro Kawakami, Ambassador of Japan to the Slovak Republic, before the audience enjoyed the first screening — a Japanese comedy that brought plenty of laughter to the cinema hall. On Saturday, the festival continued with a moving drama screening. We were proud that Yamagata Europe could support this cultural event and present a short introduction video about our company before the film screening. A big thank you to everyone who joined us, including our colleagues Katarina and Kazuya, who represented Yamagata Europe at the festival. The festival journey continues on May 15 in Košice, where the Japanese Film Festival will take place at Úsmev Cinema — and Kazuya will be there as well. We look forward to another evening connecting people through culture and cinema. 🎬
