Yale’s home is New Haven, but we work with partners across the country to tackle challenges that affect us all. In Oklahoma, that includes researchers tracking bird migration with radar towers and sampling bats in the field, gathering data for a collaborative research initiative led by scientists from the Yale School of Public Health and the University of Oklahoma. Their goal is to better understand how diseases move between animals, people, and the environment and to identify future outbreaks before they spread. Explore Yale in Your Backyard.
