In honor of Farm Workers' Day on 3/31, Dolores Huerta’s birthday on 4/10, and to be responsive to recent events within the Latinx/Chicanx communities, Yakima Valley College will host a 2-day event celebrating Huerta’s life and work, while highlighting the struggles and progress of the farm workers movement and uplifting the voices and stories of the women who have experienced sexual assault/violence. We have some amazing guests and performers planned and both days will also be offered virtually!
