Not everything needs an explanation. Especially not from you, Ramesh. 🙂 Let’s talk about #mansplaining that thing we all witness (and many of us experience) in meetings, on emails, at home, in cabs, over brunch... basically, everywhere. As someone who’s spent her career in a male-dominated industry, I’ve learned to be bold, opinionated, and almost hyper-prepared not because I want to be perfect, but because I feel I can’t afford not to be. And yet, despite holding my own, there’s always that one moment when someone decides to explain “how this works” or “what I should be doing differently” unsolicited, of course. Let me be clear: I understand strategy, business, people, and reading the room just fine. I don’t ask for help unless I need it. And when I do make a mistake, I’ve probably already given myself a 3-day guilt trip about it before anyone even notices. Women are already their own harshest critics. We carry the pressure of getting it right all the time not just for ourselves, but to prove our place at the table. So instead of offering step-by-step tutorials on things we didn’t ask for, maybe… create space? Let us make mistakes. Let us figure it out. Let us lead without constantly having to prove we can. Because empowerment doesn’t come from overexplaining it comes from trust. And trust me, we’ve got this. #Mansplaining #LetWomenLead
