From months… to days… to minutes. That is the uncomfortable reality Amit Pawar explores in this important blog on Claude Mythos and the emergence of zero-minute vulnerabilities. AI is dramatically compressing the vulnerability timeline. What once required months of manual research, exploit development, and operational planning can now be accelerated by advanced AI systems into days — and increasingly, minutes. That changes the cybersecurity equation. The issue is no longer just whether an organization can patch known vulnerabilities faster. The bigger question is whether its security architecture can withstand a world where AI can help identify, weaponize, and act on vulnerabilities at machine speed. This is why Zero Trust matters more than ever. In a zero-minute world, security teams need to assume that vulnerabilities may be discovered, exploited, and operationalized before traditional defenses can react. That means enforcing least privilege, governing privileged access, segmenting critical resources, continuously verifying identities, and containing threats before they move laterally across IT, cloud, OT, data center, and critical infrastructure environments. Zero-day was already hard. Zero-minute changes everything.
