Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine for o-rings. This machine in particular features a multi-sensor and vision system approach using cameras from KEYENCE CORPORATION and the Chromatic Vision Camera (CVC) from Precitec 3D Metrology as well as laser line triangulators from Micro-Epsilon to find/measure defects. By scanning each and every o-ring in mounting position, every part is put under stress (tension) and is being rotated, we assure a 360 degree scanning under realistic conditions and short cycle times (approx. 1 second per part). AI-based analysis using DENKweit machine learning modules and Seiko Epson Corporation Scara robot(s) take care of the OK/NOK part sorting. 👍
