One topic that drew a lot of attention at our booth during ceramitec 2026 was high-temperature resistant traceability. In many ceramic processes, identification is needed long beyond shaping even after firing and sintering. This is exactly where 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲® comes in. CerTrace® is our high-temperature resistant marking solution for refractory and technical ceramics. Applied to the green part, the marking remains readable even after sintering at ≥ 1500 °C. It can be used for simple manual labelling with pens, but also for printing QR codes, barcodes or plain text on green parts. What makes the technology especially interesting in practice: - chemically inert pigments - no negative influence on the ceramic material properties - high colour intensity even after sintering - very good abrasion resistance - traceability even after the firing process The discussions in Munich confirmed for us that this is a highly relevant topic wherever components need to remain identifiable under demanding thermal conditions.
