Congratulations to Wyss Senior Scientist Kwasi Adu-Berchie and Core Faculty member David Mooney, who received one of the 2026 Motsepe Presidential Research Accelerator Fund for Africa awards, along with Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Associate Professor Phuong Pham. Together with their collaborators in Ghana, they will work to better understand the sociocultural dynamics that influence the adoption of new vaccine initiatives in low- or middle-income countries, specifically slow-release vaccines. The Motsepe Fund was established in 2020 to support faculty-led and student-driven research projects that focus on advancing key challenges and opportunities facing Africa, with a focus on projects falling within the STEAM rubric. https://lnkd.in/ewXkzzwd
