Exposure to PFAS, or "forever chemicals" that are used to manufacture a variety of products, has been linked to cancers, liver damage, immune dysfunction, and developmental issues. Despite that, there is no affordable, portable diagnostic commercially available for on-site PFAS monitoring. Wyss researchers are developing PFASense, a portable, protein-based biosensor device that makes PFAS detection simple, fast, and affordable. https://lnkd.in/eQ9WrV-G
