Wyss researchers have developed a new class of injectable, adhesive biomaterials that is poised to become the leading solution for volumetric muscle loss (VML). The biomaterial adhesive consists of a mesh of two polymers that are cross-linked to form a hydrogel. Upon its injection into the site of VML, the same cross-linking strategy also enables the adhesive to firmly bind to muscle tissue and promote muscle regeneration. https://lnkd.in/ezPa9UbN
