Wyss researchers are getting to the root of hair loss and skin diseases with GeneSkin, a novel mRNA therapy platform that focuses on restoring the function of basal skin stem cells by reducing inflammation and mitigating cellular stress, which is critical for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration. The team, which started in Core Faculty member George Church's lab, is collaborating with members of Associate Institute Director Natalie Artzi's lab to deliver their therapeutic using microneedle technology, dermatologists at Brigham and Women's Hospital to align with clinical practices, and industry leaders. https://lnkd.in/eVY5VQxJ
