As the semester comes to an end, we’re grateful for an incredibly strong Fall 2025 and excited for what’s ahead for Wharton Undergraduate Growth Equity (WUGE) 📈. This semester, we continued to expand our exposure to the growth equity ecosystem through treks to Brighton Park Capital, ICONIQ, Lead Edge Capital , LLR Partners , and Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE). These visits gave our members valuable insight into how leading firms approach sourcing, diligence, and value creation across sectors 🤝. A big thank you to Emily Fischgrund, Julia Carboni, Christina de la Motte, Sara Warren, and Amy Gallagher for coordinating these treks and making each visit possible. We also hosted a Spectrum Equity info session, led by Maya Edwards and Colby Blaze. It was great hearing from Colby about his experience as a VP at Spectrum and from Maya about her early time at the firm. In addition, we hosted a Vista Equity Partners info session, where Mike McMullan joined us in person alongside panelists Nina Saluja and Mark Blekherman. The team shared valuable insight into Vista’s Enterprise team and investing approach. Thank you as well to Emily Bossley and Kara Smith for coordinating and supporting the session. Beyond firm engagement, we ran six weeks of accelerator sessions, covering growth equity fundamentals ranging from life sciences sourcing to ARR waterfalls. We were especially excited to partner with Recalc Academy for their first-ever Growth Equity cohort, led by Katie Fifer, giving members hands-on experience with institutional investing tools . We’re also proud to share that the club (originally Penn Growth Equity) has officially transitioned into a Wharton-affiliated organization and is now the Wharton Undergraduate Growth Equity club. Looking ahead to next semester, we’re excited to work directly with tech and life sciences startups through several industry projects, continue our accelerator sessions with deeper dives into AI infrastructure, and further explore health tech businesses as the space continues to evolve. Thank you to our incredible board that has made this possible Kohav Dantara, Iveena Mukherjee, Vanessa Kouri, Aidan Chao, Prabhavh Pradeep, Nevan Sujit, Araash Ahuja, Dhruti Shah, Alana de Blank, Eleonor Spasova and Sarem Khan We would also like to recognize Saurav Gandhi, Arnav Dhingra, and the rest of the previous board for their amazing work this past year in founding the club and building it into what it is today. Thank you to everyone who supported WUGE this semester, excited for what’s ahead! #GrowthEquity #Investing #PennGrowth #Wharton #GrowthEquityatPenn #PrivateEquity #VentureCapital
