For the Exyte project in Dresden, Würth built modular riser shafts as ready-to-install solutions. 🏗️ The process started with the assembly of the frame - the point where the modular components were joined by integrating the building services into the frame. It was then fitted with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as other technical components. What would usually be installed step by step involving many different specialists on site is brought together in advance as one installation-ready unit. ⚙️ Just in time, just in place: modular prefabrication streamlines the process, reduces on-site complexity, and cuts installation time in half—from 1,280 to 640 hours.⏱️ For the Exyte project, Würth built six riser shafts divided into 28 modules. The longest single module has a length of 19 m. The combined weight of all Würth riser shafts is around 50 tons.📏
