"Das WU Alumni‑Netzwerk ist für mich eine wertvolle Brücke zwischen Vergangenheit und Zukunft. Es ist ein Stück Heimat – egal, wo man gerade im Leben steht", sagt Tomasz M. Halucha aus voller Überzeugung und unterstreicht damit seine Verbundenheit mit unserer Alma Mater. "Zu wissen, dass ich an einer Institution studiert habe, die weltweit Anerkennung genießt und deren Absolvent*innen in unterschiedlichsten Branchen Maßstäbe setzen, erfüllt mich mit großem Stolz." Aktuell verantwortet der WU-Absolvent die organisatorischen Einheiten der Sparkasse Amberg-Sulzbach – von IT bis zum Projektmanagement – und berichtet direkt an den Vorstand. Die WU habe ihn gut auf diese vielseitigen Managementtätigkeiten vorbereitet: "Themen wie Diversität, Change Management oder zukunftsorientierte Organisationsgestaltung werden an der WU nicht nur gelehrt, sondern aktiv vorgelebt und helfen mir heute immens im Berufsalltag." Dass sich Lehrende und Studierende auf Augenhöhe begegnen, verdient den größten Respekt, sagt Halucha: "An der WU herrscht eine Atmosphäre, in der man gefordert wird – aber nie allein gelassen." 𝗘𝗥𝗭Ä𝗛𝗟𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗜𝗘 𝗨𝗡𝗦 𝗜𝗛𝗥𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗛𝗧𝗘 📖 Was macht Sie besonders stolz als Absolvent*in der WU? Wie bringt Sie unsere Community beruflich weiter? - "For me, the WU Alumni Network is a valuable bridge between the past and the future. It’s a piece of home – no matter where you are in life right now", says Tomasz Halucha with complete conviction, underscoring his connection to our alma mater. "Knowing that I studied at an institution that enjoys worldwide recognition and whose graduates set standards in a wide variety of industries fills me with great pride." Currently, the WU graduate is responsible for the organizational units at Sparkasse Amberg-Sulzbach – from IT to project management – and reports directly to the executive board. WU prepared him well for these wide-ranging management responsibilities: "Topics such as diversity, change management, and future-oriented organizational design are not only taught at WU but actively exemplified, and they help me immensely in my daily professional life." The fact that lecturers and students interact as equals deserves the greatest respect, says Halucha: "At WU, there is an atmosphere where you are challenged – but never left on your own."
