At #IFAT Munich 2026, Andreas Bareth spoke about the idea behind the MYTEX retrofit concept and how existing membrane systems can be modernized efficiently and sustainably. In the interview, Andreas explains how membrane replacements can be carried out while keeping large parts of the existing infrastructure in place. He also shares a practical example from Bodrum, Turkey, where a damaged membrane unit was selectively replaced and the membrane area significantly increased at the same time.
