Excited to share that my latest research has been published in Nature Nanotechnology (https://lnkd.in/gBU3zRkQ)! Plastic waste pollution is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. In this work, we present a novel approach to stabilizing catalytic interfaces, enabling high-performance, durable, and scalable solutions for plastic waste upcycling. By combining advanced materials design with sustainable catalytic principles, we move one step closer to circular chemical manufacturing, transforming waste into value under ambient, energy-efficient conditions. This work builds on interdisciplinary efforts across materials science, catalysis, and chemical engineering. Grateful to my collaborators and mentors, especially Prof. Dae-Hyeong Kim and Prof. Taeghwan Hyeon, for their support on this journey. Always open to conversations on sustainable chemistry, circular economy, and upcycling tech!
