The Beacon at WPUNJ has entered its new era ✨📰✂️✨ Last week, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the new Herb Jackson Center for Journalism, now the official home of WP’s student-run newspaper, made possible by the generosity of alumnus John A. Byrne ’75.🧡💪 “My hope is that this renewed appreciation for the importance of journalism, broadly, and student journalism here on campus, will help promote the highest level of integrity and accuracy as The Beacon staff learns the skills essential to good journalism: accuracy, fairness, context, and a willingness, indeed an eagerness, to ask the hard questions.” - WP President Richard J.
